When we started developing run.events, we were sure that we are going to stick to Azure DevOps: In theory, it offered all of the functionalities and tools which we needed. However, we have soon discovered that it simply didn't work for us. The backlog was there, user stories were there, tasks and bugs were there, but - none of our developers was really keen on using it. So, one year into development, we have decided to pull the plug, to move our repos to GitHub, and to move our work items into ClickUp. The integration between two platforms seemed as a sweet spot, so it all seemed as a good idea. Two years later, everyone is living in ClickUp and loving it there. In this session we will talk about why our developers love colorful tasks, why our product management loves short term timelines, and why our marketing loves long-term plans and gant charts, especially if they are all based on the same live data. And ClickUp and GitHub? They are still in love, and creating branches and PRs directly from ClickUp still works like a charm.
