Making users find the knowledge they need is essential in every organization. If you want to raise it to the next level, it’s also important to make the *knowledge* find the user. Knowledge findability does not end with a search box. We need to design the search experience and tailor it to meet the users' needs and expectations. Even more, it also includes in-context suggestions, as well as serendipitous discovery features.
Search has been a major challenge for many organizations. In the new wave of AI tools, many put all their bets on the shiny and new. In this session, Agnes introduces what knowledge management systems need to have to provide good findability features. Based on her real-world experiences with various international organizations, she also discusses what makes AI tools work in the context of knowledge management - and what makes them become a disaster story, quickly.
