AI for Enterprise Developers

As enterprise demands for AI-driven applications grow, architects and developers are increasingly expected to harness the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. This master class equips you with the foundational understanding and practical knowledge needed to design and implement intelligent applications. We begin by demystifying the core mechanics of GenAI covering tokens, vector similarity, embeddings, and the text generation. From there, we’ll guide you through a prompt engineering, semantic search, classification, clustering, recommendation, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You’ll learn how to integrate GenAI into enterprise-grade software systems using plugins, tools, and function calls, including MCP Servers and Clients. Through live demonstrations, we’ll show how developers, especially those working in .NET, can build intelligent, autonomous agents that execute solve complex tasks and orchestrate workflows. We’ll also introduce Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Open Source framework Semantic Kernel used by Microsoft to create agents and copilots. Target Audience: Enterprise developers, solution architects, and anyone curious about integrating AI into real-world software. Prerequisites: A curious mind and optionally a laptop. Most demos are in C# using Visual Studio, but feel free to bring your preferred IDE, or at least Notepad. An Azure subscription and GitHub account are recommended for hands-on participation.
