SPFx is finally getting some love again, with new features and improvements landing at a pace we haven’t seen in years. In this demo-driven session, we’ll explore what’s new in the SharePoint Framework and, more importantly, what it means for developers. We’ll look at the move to Heft and the new build experience, the new SPFx CLI, improvements to List Command Sets and Form Customizers, and the latest extensibility options across Microsoft 365. We’ll also take a look at Copilot Components and how SPFx is expanding beyond the traditional SharePoint experience, along with a few things currently on the horizon. Expect plenty of code, demos, and practical examples as we catch up on what’s changed and explore where SPFx is heading next.
I've been working with SharePoint since the early days—back when master pages, sandbox solutions, and XSLT were the norm. These days, I'm focused on modern Microsoft 365 development with SPFx, Azure Functions, and C#. I'm an architect, consultant, and developer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, helping teams build clean, scalable solutions in Microsoft 365. I work closely with development teams to integrate systems, drive innovation, and shape well-architected, maintainable solutions. Previously a Microsoft MVP and Certified Trainer for several years, I’ve always enjoyed sharing knowledge and supporting the developer community. I take a code-first approach, using TypeScript, React, and Azure to build robust, flexible solutions that grow with the platform.
