Level 200. Copilot can now show custom UI inside a conversation, not just text. Copilot UX components are SharePoint Framework (SPFx) pieces that render interactive experiences in Copilot and deploy through the SharePoint App Catalog. In this intro session we’ll look at what they are, where they differ from a plain text answer, and which design frameworks shape them: immersive, assistive, and embedded. We’ll also go through a few common component patterns so you can recognize them in the wild. The back half is the practical side. We’ll walk through choosing a scenario, checking prerequisites like SPFx version, and Node.js, building and deploying solutions, and testing inside Copilot. We'll build a complete solution, end-to-end. By the end, you should know when a Copilot UX component is the right tool, how to leverage your existing SPFx skills, and where to find the docs and community samples to accelerate your progress. Prior Copilot development experience is not required.
Since Copilot UX components are not GA as of the submission deadline, I'll update this as needed once we have the full picture.
