Over the past 25 years, low-code/no-code platforms have radically transformed the way applications are built and deployed. At the forefront of this revolution is Microsoft’s Power Platform (Gartner® Magic Quadrant™), which has democratized app development, enabling both developers and non-developers to create powerful applications without deep programming expertise. This presentation explores the evolution of Canvas Apps and Microsoft’s low-code offerings, beginning with Project Siena in the 2010s, and tracing its development into today’s robust Power Platform ecosystem.
