Microsoft 365 Copilot: Let's take the next step 💖

You've got Microsoft 365 Copilot. You've tried a few prompts, summarised a meeting, written an email, maybe even created an image of a cat riding a bicycle because someone told you that's how you're supposed to learn AI. The results are... pretty good.If we're being honest, many people use about 10% of what Microsoft 365 Copilot can actually do. Microsoft keeps releasing new things: researcher, analyst, Cowork, Scout - not to talk about Agent Builder, I mean Copilot Studio Lite, I mean Agent Builder. It's hard to keep on track!
In this workshop we'll explore what comes after the basic usage of everyday AI in knowledge work. We'll look at how the different Copilot experiences fit together and, most importantly, when to use them.
When is regular Copilot Chat enough? When should you use Researcher or Analyst? What is Cowork and why is everyone suddenly talking about skills? Does a normal person really need a farm of agents? And what's all this fuzz about token optimisation?
Through demos, exercises and real-world scenarios, you'll learn how to move from simply asking Copilot questions to getting meaningful help with actual work. No coding, no complicated architecture diagrams, and as little marketing terminology as possible.
Whether you're a business user trying to figure out what Copilot is genuinely useful for, an adoption lead looking for practical ways to increase usage, or a curious power user ready to go beyond prompting, this workshop will help you take the next step. The goal isn't to become an token maxxing expert. The goal is to get work done and be home on time 💖
Tutorial takeaways:
✅ A better understanding of how the different Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences work together
✅ Practical techniques for using different built-in Copilot agents more effectively
✅ Inspiration with Copilot Cowork, skills, Scout and Agent Builder
✅ Guidance for deciding which Copilot tool to use for different situations
✅ New use cases, prompts and examples you can start using immediately
✅ At least a few "wait...it can do THAT?!" moments ✨
In the tutorial attendees will work on their own computers and do exercises on their own as well as sharing experiences in small groups or the whole class. Most of the exercises require a M365 Copilot Licence. No Cowork or Scout needed, but some demos will focus on those.
