For years, we have built apps in Power Platform using Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, while utilizing the drag-and-drop simplicity, WYSIWYG design, and a sprinkle of Power Fx magic. All true to the low-code formula. With Code Apps, a new contender has entered the arena. But does this mean low-code makers are out of the game? Absolutely not! In this session, we’ll see how to create a Code App from scratch, connect it to Dataverse, call a Power Automate flow, and see live updates. All while leveraging GitHub Copilot as our coding sidekick. We will also discuss what this means for governance, maintainability, and ALM in the Power Platform world. Expect to leave inspired and equipped to bring Code Apps into your Power Platform toolbox, without needing to be a seasoned developer. With the right tools and a little help from GitHub Copilot, you’ll see how approachable and powerful this new capability can be.
