Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, or MVPs, are technology experts who passionately share their knowledge with the community. They are always on the "bleeding edge" and have an unstoppable urge to get their hands on new, exciting technologies. They have very deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, while also being able to bring together diverse platforms, products, and solutions, to solve real world problems. MVPs make up a global community of over 4,000 technical experts and community leaders across 90 countries/regions and are driven by their passion, community spirit, and quest for knowledge. Above all and in addition to their amazing technical abilities, MVPs are always willing to help others - it's their commitment to engaging with community that sets them apart. The program can be a mystery - but it shouldn't be! Laurie Pottmeyer, M365 Community Lead, will provide insight into the program, how the nomination and award process works, and provide the opportunity to ask all your burning questions. Learn how to get involved in the community and how MVPs in your region can help support the work you do.
This doesn't have to be a formal breakout session, it could be a meet-up or informal Q&A if you wanted it to be.
I lead the M365 MVP and RD Communities for Microsoft where I work with PM leads across 20+ M365 products to create a deep engagement with our engineering teams and MVPs and Regional Directors. Through these programs, we facilitate product deep dives, and create opportunities for feedback to ensure we're creating products that meet the needs of customers and to ensure MVPs and RDs have the product knowledge to be experts. During my 20 years at Microsoft, I have run programs focused on product feedback and product adoption, mostly in the unified communications space. I enjoy connecting people and bringing a human element to technology.
