Session Abstract

For many years, we have overlooked the critical role of SharePoint as the primary repository for all Microsoft 365 content. We have rarely discussed best practices and recommendations for effectively governing our SharePoint environments. The lack of native governance and advanced management tools has made it difficult to implement these best practices, forcing SharePoint administrators to choose between a “do it yourself” approach or adopting third-party governance solutions. With the advent of Copilot, this approach must now be revisited. We can no longer afford to put these questions off. Fortunately, with the introduction of SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM), we have a comprehensive set of built-in capabilities designed to simplify SharePoint management, improve security, and foster collaboration. In this session, we will explore the current governance capabilities available in SharePoint Advanced Management that will also ensure a safe and efficient adoption of Copilot.
