Surviving Microsoft Security at Scale: An MSP’s Guide to Intune, Entra & Defender

Session Abstract

MSPs are trusted to protect thousands of businesses—but a handful of small configuration mistakes can undo even the best intentions. This session pulls back the curtain on what really goes wrong in Intune, Entra, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint when they’re deployed and managed at scale. Through real-world examples and battle-tested best practices, we’ll show you how to reduce attack surface, avoid repeatable mistakes, and keep your customers safer. You’ll walk away with practical takeaways, cautionary tales, and a few stories that prove security doesn’t have to be boring. Join us to hear some tales from the field, along with recommended practices for handling Intune, Entra, and Defender for endpoint at-scale, avoiding pitfalls which cause business compromise. Expect laughs, learning, and maybe the odd horror story in this session, where you’re also invited to share some of your own too!
