Session Abstract

Building Power Pages websites as "code sites" represent a shift in how we build web applications on the Power Platform. We can now have the best of both worlds by combining the flexibility of single-page application development with the security, authentication, and hosting infrastructure Power Pages provides out of the box! This hands on workshop is designed for Power Platform developers as well as low-code/no-code makers ready to explore code-first development using agentic tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code. You'll learn when code sites make sense, how Power Pages hosting simplifies deployment and security, and how to effectively use AI-assisted coding to accelerate development. If you dream in code or if you've never written a line, this workshop has something for everyone. Through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, you'll build, configure, and deploy a working Power Pages code site that use well known frameworks like React, and generate code in TypeScript. Nick is an independent Power Platform specialist, trainer and coach. Nick delivers presentations, workshops and collaborates on Power Platform, Power Pages, and Dynamics CRM/365 projects worldwide. From 2021 to 2023, Nick worked as a Senior Content Developer at Microsoft where he worked on documentation and learning content for Power Pages, Power Automate, and other parts of the Power Platform. Nick has been awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) and is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2019. Nick is a cohost on the Power Platform BOOST podcast with MVP Ulrikke Akerbæk.
