Be honest. If the app/agent/automation you are responsible for vanished this afternoon, could you get it back? What if the whole environment went with it? Melissa couldn't. She found out four seconds after deleting an internal leave request app in her first Power Platform role. The environment had no backup, and she spent several weeks rebuilding it from scratch. That was low code. Makers building agentic apps now spend real time in Visual Studio Code, with agent definitions, configuration, prompts and code living in files. Treating a solution in a dev environment as the source of truth never really worked, and it doesn't hold up at all once your app is a folder full of files that an AI agent is editing alongside you. This session is the GitHub crash course makers never got. Nick and Melissa set up a repository properly, live, for a real agentic Power Platform app, and take it through the everyday work: committing changes, branching, reviewing what an agent changed, and getting back to a known good state. Nick explains what is happening underneath. Melissa shows how it looks to someone who came from a non-technical background. At least one thing breaks on purpose. No git experience assumed. If you build on Microsoft Power Platform or Copilot Managed Runtime, this one is for you.
Humbled and honoured.
