Session Abstract

Copilot apps are changing how users interact with business processes—but most logic and data still live in SharePoint and existing solutions. In this session, we show how to turn those processes into practical Copilot apps using SharePoint Framework (SPFx). You’ll walk through an end-to-end scenario where SharePoint acts as the backbone for a Copilot app—exposing business data, connecting APIs, and enabling actions directly within the Copilot experience. We’ll demonstrate how to structure SharePoint content for Copilot, integrate real workflows, and surface business operations as intuitive, AI-driven interactions. Beyond the implementation, we’ll cover key design considerations for building secure, reliable, and maintainable Copilot apps on top of SharePoint. By the end, you’ll have a practical approach to transforming existing SharePoint solutions into actionable Copilot apps that can be applied immediately in your organization.
