Queries have not been commonly used in the ERP world since the NAV era. However, with Dynamics 365 Business Central now exposed to other applications, users have the possibility to use queries to perform various integrations through API queries. Queries can also be used to enhance user reporting experience and provide new dimensions of reporting capabilities to Dynamics 365 Business Central. In our session, we will demonstrate how to develop various query types, build various reports based on query datasets, track queries in telemetry, and use them in various integrations and user scenarios.
