Session Abstract

Many organisations focus on licensing, pilots, and user training when planning Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption. Few spend enough time understanding what Copilot can already access. In this session, we will explore the hidden relationship between permissions, oversharing, sensitivity labels, governance controls, and AI generated responses. Learn how years of accumulated SharePoint and OneDrive permissions can become highly discoverable through natural language queries, and how administrators can identify and reduce risk before enabling Copilot at scale. Attendees will leave with a practical readiness framework, recommended review areas, and a security first approach to Copilot adoption.
