Session Abstract

Are you struggling with unorganized document libraries and inconsistent metadata in SharePoint Online? In this session, we’ll explore how Content Types can help you standardize and streamline document management in your organization. Starting with a brief primer on what content types are and when they’re useful, we’ll walk through the process of designing a custom content type, creating it in SharePoint Online, and configuring a document library to make the most of it. There will be a good mix of theory and demos. By the end of this session, you’ll have a solid understanding of how to leverage content types for better document consistency, searchability, and governance in SharePoint. Whether you’re a SharePoint admin, site owner, or power user, this session will equip you with practical skills you can implement immediately.
