The Human Impact of Copilot

Session Abstract

Microsoft has announced many Copilots across their entire range of products, which provide generative AI capabilities embedded in our every day tools and systems. Copilot is already starting to revolutionise how people work - how they write code, manage security, build apps and even how they work day-to-day in their office apps. Early research is showing that Copilot has unintended benefits that level the playing field, closing the digital skills gaps and making it easier for those who are neurodiverse to work more effectively. In this session, I will share: - why levelling the playing field is so important from a diversity and inclusion perspective - an overview of the benefits of Copilot - real life examples of how M365 Copilot is levelling the playing field for those who are neurodiverse - practical demos of these use-cases in action - my views on what the future may hold for Copilot from an inclusion and accessibility perspective

Note to event organizers

I’ve been using M365 copilot since June, I am leading the Avanade global go to market for M365 Copilot and part of the steerco overseeing all our copilot activity. This includes our internal deployment, our research strategy, findings and lessons learnt, and I’m also working with many of our clients, particularly around research, value and the benefits of Copilot.
