Have you ever wondered what’s the magic behind Microsoft Teams? How does it work, and why it sometimes doesn’t? If you have then you’re in luck because in this presentation we will dive deep into the pits of WebRTC’s possibilities, creating a Microsoft Teams-like conference call solution using several different WebRTC multi-peer topologies, such as SFU (Selective Forwarding Unit) and MCU (Multipoint Control Unit) used by Microsoft. In the first part of the lecture, we will shortly go through the theory and strategy on how to make such a solution, while the second, technical part, will be all about coding and developing the solution using NodeJS, Microsoft SignalR and Angular.
