Administrators of the Microsoft environment with a bit more experience certainly remember the Microsoft TMG server, formerly also known as the ISA server. Back in 2010, Microsoft stopped developing solutions for securing and managing network traffic. However, today a similar solution appears as a cloud-based service. As part of the Entra family, Global Secure Access allows us to pass, monitor and filter client connections to specific resources or the entire Internet through this service. In this lecture, we will discuss usage scenarios as well as ways to configure this relatively new service.
