Microsoft Entra Verified ID brings verifiable credentials and decentralized identity concepts into practical Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments. In this session, we will discuss what Verified ID is, which business and security problems it solves, and how it complements—not replaces—traditional authentication, MFA, and identity governance. Attendees will learn how organizations can issue trusted digital credentials to employees, partners, or external users, and how applications can verify those credentials without unnecessary data exposure. We will also look at real-world scenarios such as employee verification, onboarding, and account recovery. Through practical demonstrations, the session will show how to configure Verified ID in an Entra tenant, issue a credential, store it in Microsoft Authenticator, and verify it from an application or access workflow.
