Session Abstract

Building multi agent solutions in Copilot Studio quickly becomes a code heavy and architectural challenge, especially when orchestration logic, agent responsibilities, and repeatability matter. In this session, I take a hands on, technical approach to agentic development by building the same Copilot Studio multi agent orchestration using Claude Code, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot. The session shows how these tools can be used to design, generate, refine, and validate agent logic and orchestration flows. You’ll see how each tool performs when working with structured documentation, agent definitions, and clear orchestration goals - and where they struggle when ambiguity increases. Rather than focusing on “which tool is best”, the session compares strengths, weaknesses, and trade offs: • How well each tool supports multi agent thinking • Code quality and consistency • Feedback and iteration speed • Fit for real Copilot Studio development workflows I’ll also demonstrate how different tools can be used together, and why clear documentation and planning dramatically changes the outcome of agent assisted development. This is a pure technical session for developers and architects who want to understand how agentic development tools behave in real Copilot Studio projects - and how to choose the right tool for the job.

Karl-Johan is a Senior Consultant with over 19 years of experience delivering solutions with Microsoft technologies. In the past eight years, he has specialized in the Power Platform, focusing on Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps. He has delivered around 100 projects across multiple industries, working as an architect and Scrum Master. His solutions often extend into Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure services. Recently, his work has focused on building autonomous agent solutions with Copilot Studio manually or with Claude Code. With nearly two decades of technical experience combined with a strong Agile background, Karl-Johan is a versatile technology consultant and developer.
