Session Abstract

If you’ve worked with Intune long enough, you know the routine: you need information → you grab a script → you run it → and you do the same thing again tomorrow. It works… but it’s repetitive, slow, and definitely not the future. In this session, we take you through a journey many of us know: starting with the familiar PowerShell scripts we’ve been using for years to check device status, validate configurations, or pull insights and transforming that workflow into something smarter. With Azure AI Foundry, we’ll show how those scripts can evolve into an intelligent Intune agent you can simply talk to. An agent that understands what you want, calls the Microsoft Graph API, and gives you answers instantly, without digging through portals or re-running the same automation over and over. We’ll walk step-by-step through how to design, build, and connect your own agent. And yes you’ll get example code you can immediately use or adapt to start building your own version right after the session. This session is all about moving from “run this script” to “ask your agent.” It’s practical, real, and based on the same challenges we all deal with every day. Whether you manage one tenant or many, this is your next step toward making Intune management faster, smarter, and a lot more enjoyable.
