We all know this situation: we introduce a new tool, run an adoption program, do the training, send the comms… and then? A few weeks later usage drops, people fall back into old habits, and adoption turns into an exhausting reminder loop. In this session, I will use Minecraft as the "unexpected blueprint" to fix that. It’s a “beatable” game people still return to for years, not because they’re pushed, but because the design creates pull: fast first value, visible progress, safe experimentation, clear next steps, and community momentum. You will learn 10+1 lessons from Minecraft and how to apply them to Microsoft 365 Copilot and business process engagement, without points-and-badges theatre. We will turn push-based rollouts into a system people actually want to come back to. What you get: 10+1 Minecraft principles that turn push into pull Practical ideas for Copilot, M365 & process engagement Really funny Session perfect as After Lunch Drop
I’m Sandra Kiel – gamer, Playpreneur and founder of Event Punks. I help organisations turn dry, complex topics into playful experiences: from gamified Power Apps and Copilot adoption journeys to learning quests in Microsoft 365 and Gaming Platforms like Minecraft. My heart lives where people, play and technology meet. I work with game design principles, storytelling and UX to make change, learning and new tools feel less scary and more human. As an introvert, a mum and a non-native English speaker, I don’t fit the classic “loud tech speaker” stereotype – and I’m totally fine with that. On stage, I share real-world projects, honest lessons and practical patterns teams can reuse the next day. My talks are for people who want less buzzword bingo and more concrete ideas on how to bring play, curiosity and adoption into their everyday work.
