If you are thrilled about mixed reality (MR) applications and would like to write one of your own even you are not a hard-core developer, join this session to learn how you can do it by using the Microsoft PowerApps platform for low code/no-code solutions. You will learn how to create a demo application that allows users to view 3D models on a mobile device by using PowerApps mixed reality components in a little bit more than half an hour. We will explain how this scenario is using AI, cognitive services and we will show how to create an online data source, populate data and connect Power Apps to it in a secure way and what options are there to store non-structural data like pictures and other files.

In this workshop, you will learn how to build a 3D Mixed Reality application in Power Apps. Come, see, and try the possibilities of what you all can do with the Power of Power Apps. In Power Apps, you cannot create 3D models, but with the built-in components, you can view an object in 3D or view the 3D model in Mixed Reality and measure distance, area, and volume. Due to the great enthusiastic feedback from the audience, I create a follow-up 3D Mixed Reality App - version 2.0. In this workshop, I want to inspire you about using Mixed Reality in your Power Apps and I'll give you the steps, tips, and tricks and what kind of problems I have encountered, so you don't have to reinvent the wheel. After this workshop, you can start building your 3D Mixed Reality app by yourself, and it will give you an inspiration on how to get started.
