Session Abstract

Many organizations today are experimenting with artificial intelligence (AI). While employees leverage AI tools to boost personal productivity, management often restricts efforts to isolated pilot projects—lacking a clear strategy or measurable business impact. Bridging this gap between experimentation and strategy is now a central challenge of digital transformation. This session explores how organizations can systematically implement artificial intelligence, making it an essential part of business processes, decision-making, and daily team workflows. Using real-world examples, it demonstrates how Microsoft Copilot within the Microsoft 365 environment supports this journey—from document and data management, to informed decision-making, to boosting employee productivity and enhancing collaboration within and across teams. Special emphasis is placed on the role of leadership/management: how to align initiatives related to the implementation of AI with business goals, how to develop the necessary employee skills, and how to establish an appropriate framework of trust, security, and governance. The session connects technology, people, and organizational culture, embracing the concept of a “human upgrade” to show how AI can enhance—rather than replace—the way people work. This session is designed for business and IT leaders seeking to move beyond ad-hoc AI experiments toward sustainable, strategic, and measurable applications of artificial intelligence. It also targets department heads and employees interested in progressing from experimentation to strategy and effective AI implementation.

Tomislav Bronzin

Tomislav Bronzin is one of only 165 Microsoft Regional Directors worldwide and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (M365). He is the founder and CEO of CITUS, a Microsoft partner company specializing in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and modern workplace solutions. As an innovator, he has received 120+ international innovation awards and holds six patents in AI, mixed reality, and cloud technologies. With over 25 years of experience, Tomislav has worked on global and EU projects across 40+ countries, advising governments, IT associations, company boards, and development teams. He helps organizations turn technological innovation into strategic advantage, measurable business outcomes, and sustainable change. Tomislav focuses on AI as a catalyst for enhancing human potential—improving decision‑making, productivity, and collaboration. He is an expert in AI strategy and adoption, particularly through Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, and Azure. His involvement in the IT and business community has accelerated the digital growth of organizations across Europe. As a Vice President of the IT Association of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, he represents the business community and, as a member of the National Council for Digital Transformation of the Republic of Croatia, promotes influential digital initiatives. Tomislav is a frequent speaker at international conferences, a Senior Lecturer at Algebra Bernays University, author of 40+ research papers, and a member of the National Human Resources Council of the Republic of Croatia.
